Pat and Sari's Honeymoon Bike Ride

Saturday, August 09, 2008 - Rest Day in Springfield, SD

Another dull rest day, but we have a real treat for you, courtesy of our friend, Terry from Tempe. He sent us some photos of the Fort Randall Dam area that he took while on vacation in late September a couple of years ago. The fall colors are awesome and he also got some pictures of the old chapel, the one building from the old fort that still has some walls standing. Enjoy!

Next week should be interesting - in the next 6 days we'll be entering 3 new states, Iowa, Nebraska, and Kansas! Tomorrow night we'll still be in South Dakota, but then we'll have 2 nights each in Iowa and Nebraska, followed by a night and a rest day in Kansas, all along the Missouri River. It will seem like we're flying to go through that many states so quickly!
