Wednesday, July 09, 2008 - Rest Day in Missoula, MT

Busy day in Missoula. We visited one of the many local bike shops and dropped a lot of money there mostly on new shoes - mine were falling apart. Hope I like the new ones, hate the thought of breaking in new shoes in the middle of a long trip, but not much choice. We've also enjoyed visiting the local restaurants, of which there are many as well, mostly cafes and bars but interesting restaurants, too. Neat atmosphere here, almost reminds us of Berkeley, but somehow different. Well, back to work on our route - the bike shop took a lot of time today so we're pretty behind.
